Sharing the same engine, frame and bodywork as the XT125R, the X model has completely different wheels, tyres, front suspension and brakes. Wheels are 17 inch at the front and rear, with a 100/80-17 front tyre and an extra-wide 130/70-17 rear tyre that underlines the supermotard image. The X model also runs with a larger diameter 260mm front disc, and features different front forks offering 175mm of wheel travel, 5mm more than the R model.
Other detail changes include a black coloured box section swing arm (silver on the R model) as well as a new XT660X-style high level front fender matched to a low level rear section. | | |
