Throughout the 1990’s, the Ducati Monster dominated the motorcycling scene, propelling it into the new millennium as the universally acknowledged benchmark in its class.  Styling and performance make for a unique personality, one that is mean yet captivating and calls out to the hearts of a diverse audience, from novice riders to female motorcyclists to those who just love aggressive sport riding in a comfortable, upright riding position.

For M.Y. 2002, the Monster family has been updated and refined in terms of technology, styling and graphics. These updates further reinforce the Monster’s original mission statement and highlight its proven ability to easily withstand the test of time.

New for 2002, the Monster 750 i.e. S was developed exclusively for the North American market and those riders who appreciate the characteristics of Ducati’s middleweight air cooled L-Twin engine in a package that emphasizes its true sporting capabilities. Like other models on the 2002 Monster range, this special model features electronic fuel injection and sports the Superbike Trellis frame and rising rate suspension derived from the Monster S4. However, the sporting nature of the 750 i.e. S is further enhanced by an aluminum swingarm, a headlight mounted fairing, rear seat cowl, and a special metallic gray and fluorescent red paint scheme. In addition, the 750 i.e. S shares the new, high volume airbox to compliment Ducati’s latest fuel injection system.
The newly designed electronic instruments incorporate an LCD display that gives you quick and accurate information including trip distance, odometer, oil temperature, service intervals, time, and low fuel warning.
