Piaggio have unveiled the latest iteration of their amazing three-wheeled scooter, the MP3, which first came out back in 2006. With more than 150,000 units having been sold over the last seven years, Piaggio haven't stopped improving their nifty little trike and the latest, 2015-spec MP3 500 gets anti-lock brakes, traction control and revised styling. Oh, and the 500cc single-cylinder engine is also new, and gets ride-by-wire throttle control for optimised power delivery and, with revised CVT settings, reduced fuel consumption. With 40 horsepower and 45Nm of torque, the new MP3 500 is never going to be a rocket, but performance should certainly be adequate for most people.

Available in 'Sport' and 'Business' variants, the 2015 Piaggio MP3 500 is, according to Piaggio, the best MP3 scooter they've ever made, and benefits from improved ergonomics, increased underseat storage area (which can now accommodate two full-face helmets), height-adjustable windshield, LED DRLs, new 13-inch alloy wheels and updated digital instrumentation.
