Its a scaled-down version of Kawasaki’s own Z800 as far as looks go, the Z250 gets a stout headlamp unit while there is a fair amount of body work done which can be seen on the tank and extensions. Under the fuel tank sits the Ninja 250R’s 250cc, parallel-twin fuel injected motor. The Z250 will make approximately 32hp of power. On offer will be the 6-speed transmission from the 250R. The removal of the fairing has caused a drop in weight by 5kg over the Ninja 250R, bringing the overall weight of the Z250 to 168kg. Unlike the Ninja’s 3-piece handlebar, the Z250 will have a flat handlebar which will make for easy manoeuvrability in the streets. The digital instrument panel has been retained from the Ninja 250R. . |
