During the economic crisis, it was a brilliant marketing move when NSU put out the first mass-production motorcycle in 1931. It came onto the market as a cheap, simple and resilient means of transport. A robust vehicle was available for very little money that could stand up to everyday use and which was sold as a gent's version with a cross bar and as a ladies' version. |
