BRP Can-Am Spyder RT Audio and Convenience Roadster
Powered by a Rotax 991 motor, the RT looks like the RS with a Goldwing seat attached to the back. The added cushioning should make the miles go by more easily, but at the core of the RT is the same RS pedigree that makes the miles go by quickly. The RT feature BRP’s electronic throttle control, and BOSCH-engineered Vehicle Stability System (VSS), as found in the Spyder RS roadster. The RT also borrows the RS’s anti-lock breaks, traction control, and stability control. New for the Spyder series is the RT’s trailer package, which will making hauling long distances even that much more comfortable and convenient to riders. The trailer adds as additional 22 ft3 of storage, and is compatible with the vehicle’s stability system. From a press release issued by BRP...
